HOTTIES ON HOLIDAY · MEXICO CITY

Less conference, more designer field trip.

Five days in Mexico City with your new interior designer besties who get just as excited about the details as you do.

JOIN US MARCH 1-6, 2027

Five days, thoughtfully filled.

We've curated a mix of architecture and design, museums and galleries, local makers, workshops, markets, shopping, great meals and a hands-on culinary experience.

And don't worry, we aren't scheduling every minute of your day. There will be plenty of breathing room to follow whatever catches your attention, grab a drink or sneak away for some alone time.

to inspire

Design & Architecture

We'll explore iconic architecture, inspiring interiors, museums, galleries and creative spaces, with plenty of opportunities to notice the kinds of details that make designers stop in their tracks.

To Discover

Food & Culture

We'll eat very well, wander inspiring neighborhoods, shop local favorites and discover the markets, makers and unexpected finds that make Mexico City so creatively inspiring.

to connect

Designer Conversations

The best shop talk rarely happens in a conference room. There will be plenty of time for the conversations that happen naturally when designers travel, eat and experience a new city together.

OUR HOME BASE

The Alest Hotel

We chose The Alest as our home base because it feels like the perfect fit for a group of interior designers. It's intimate, full of personality and located in Polanco, one of Mexico City's most vibrant neighborhoods.

With beautifully designed guest rooms, a restaurant and bar, private gathering spaces and a charming interior courtyard, it gives us a place to come together between days spent exploring the city.

The final itinerary is still coming together, but here’s a look at what we have planned so far.

  • DAY 01 · Monday, March 1 | ARRIVE + WELCOME

Arrive in Mexico City and we’ll arrange your airport transfer to The Alest. You’ll have time to check in and settle in before we kick things off with our opening night welcome dinner.
Plan to arrive by early afternoon so you have plenty of time to join us for the evening.

  • Stay

Your five-night hotel stay and daily breakfast are all taken care of, so you’ll have a comfortable home base throughout the trip.

  • Explore & Connect

We’ll explore Mexico City’s design, architecture, and culture together, with curated experiences, shared meals and plenty of chats about running and growing our businesses.

  • Get Around

Airport transfers and private transportation for our scheduled activities are included, so getting around the city is taken care of too.

Local support, the whole way.

We’ll have a dedicated local coordinator with us throughout the trip who knows Mexico City and is there to keep everything running smoothly. She'’ll coordinate reservations, transportation, help with translation, answer questions and troubleshoot whatever comes up along the way.

Basically, we’ll have an on-the-ground fixer so you don’t have to think about the logistics.

YOUR HOSTS

Let's go, Hotties!

We've spent years talking about how much better this business gets when you find your designer people. Hotties on Holiday is our chance to take those conversations beyond the podcast and into the real world.

We wanted to create our dream design trip with inspiring places, really good food, time to explore and a group of designers who are excited about the same things we are.

And because this is HYDC, you won't find conference centers, name badges or awkward networking anywhere on the itinerary.

– Rebecca & Shaun

Rooms & Booking

Choosing Your Room

Your trip is booked per person, with several room types to choose from. Your price includes your accommodations plus all included meals, experiences, transportation and programming throughout the trip as outlined in itinerary.

Share with a Hottie

Coming with your design bestie? You'll each book and pay for your own spot. Make sure you book at the same time and choose the same room type so there is availability for both of you, then email us to let us know you're rooming together.

Coming solo and happy to share? Choose one of the shared room options and we'll do our best to thoughtfully match you with another Hottie based on your preferences. You absolutely don't need to know anyone before you get here.

Have Your Own Space

Prefer a little space to yourself at the end of the day? Choose one of our single occupancy options and the room is all yours.

All room types are limited and subject to availability. We’ll do our best to keep the inventory on the site current as Hotties book their spots.

Ready to Join?

All prices shown below are per person, not per room. If you're looking to share, each guest must purchase their own spot. Questions? Send us an email!

This is an intentionally small trip, so room options are limited and available while they last.
